Azlam African Safari – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Azlam African Safari (“we,” “our,” “us”). Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking any tours or services with us. By booking, you agree to be bound by the following terms.


1. Bookings and Payments

  • A booking with Azlam African Safari is confirmed only after receipt of the deposit or full payment as specified in your booking confirmation.

  • Final payment must be made at least 30 days before the tour start date unless otherwise agreed.

  • We accept payments via bank transfer, credit card, or other methods communicated at booking.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

  • All cancellations must be made in writing.

  • Cancellation fees apply as follows:

    • More than 60 days before departure: 75% refund.

    • Between 30 and 60 days before departure: 50% refund.

    • Less than 30 days before departure: No refund.

  • Azlam African Safari reserves the right to cancel tours due to insufficient bookings or unforeseen circumstances; in such cases, a full refund will be issued.

3. Changes to Itinerary

  • We may modify itineraries due to weather, safety concerns, government restrictions, or other uncontrollable factors.

  • Clients will be notified promptly of any significant changes.

4. Health and Fitness

  • Clients must ensure they are physically and medically fit for the tour.

  • For strenuous activities such as Kilimanjaro climbs, a reasonable fitness level is required.

  • We recommend clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance including medical evacuation coverage.

5. Travel Documents

  • Clients are responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documents, including passports, visas, and permits.

  • Azlam African Safari is not liable for issues arising from improper or missing documentation.

6. Liability

  • Azlam African Safari acts as an agent for third-party service providers (accommodation, transport, guides) and accepts no liability for loss, injury, or damage beyond our control.

  • Clients participate in activities at their own risk.

7. Force Majeure

  • We are not responsible for failure to perform due to events beyond our control, including natural disasters, political unrest, strikes, or government actions.

8. Insurance

  • We strongly advise all clients to purchase travel insurance covering trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and loss of personal belongings.

9. Photography and Privacy

  • Azlam African Safari may take photographs or videos during tours for promotional use.

  • If you do not consent, please inform us in writing prior to departure.

10. Governing Law

  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Tanzania.

  • Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Tanzanian courts.
