Our experienced mountain guides and dedicated support crew prioritize your safety and comfort at every step of the climb. You’ll be provided with nutritious meals, quality camping equipment, and detailed pre-trek briefings to prepare you physically and mentally. Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or a determined first-timer, climbing Kilimanjaro with Azlam African Safari is more than just a trek — it’s an inspiring personal achievement and an unforgettable experience above the clouds.
Marangu Route, commonly known as the Coca Cola route is more popular because it can be done in fewer days and has permanent sleep huts at the campsites.
The Machame route, also known as the Whisky Route is one of the most scenic and recommended routes on Kilimanjaro.
As a newer route, it is more remote and arguably more beautiful, but a bit longer and slightly more expensive.
On the first day you begin at Shira Gate to Simba Camp before joining the Lemosho Route on day two at Shira Camp 2.
This route is the steepest with the shortest and most direct routes to the Southern Glaciers, Western Breach and Uhuru Peak.
Less crowded because of its remote location the route offers trekkers a unique wilderness experience where it is possible to see large wildlife like antelope, elephant and buffalo.
