Mount Meru is the second-highest mountain in Tanzania (4,566 meters / 14,980 ft), located inside Arusha National Park, just 70 km west of Mount Kilimanjaro. It offers stunning views, diverse wildlife, and is often used as a warm-up for Kilimanjaro. But Meru is a spectacular trek in its own right.
